Niort Hospital

The WHO advocates the importance of art in the healing or resilience process. Art soothes and relaxes hospitalized patients, their visitors and nursing staff alike. After a few days and several brushstrokes, the fresco created by Niort painter MAGGY saw the light of day in the entrance corridor of the oncology hospitalization ward. Maggy chose to depict nature and birds in a dominant green and blue. True to her artistic commitment, the artist wanted to offer color and softness to patients, through her distinctive style. "𝘑𝘦 𝘷𝘦𝘶𝘹 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘶𝘹 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘥𝘦 𝘷𝘰𝘺𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘳, 𝘥'𝘶𝘯 𝘦́𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘢̀ 𝘭𝘢 𝘳𝘦́𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘦́ 𝘥'𝘶𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘦𝘵 𝘥𝘦 𝘴'𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘳 𝘶𝘯 𝘥𝘦 𝘴𝘦́𝘳𝘦́𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦́", says the artist, inviting us on a meditative journey. Through her work, she hopes to create an environment conducive to the healing and well-being of patients, "𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘦𝘯 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘶𝘯𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘦 𝘥'𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘦𝘵 𝘳𝘦́𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦". The corridor that distributes the oncology full hospitalization services, cardiology and cardiac intensive care then takes on a whole new dimension. "𝘓𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘦𝘶𝘳, 𝘤̧𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘵!", concludes Bruno Faulconnier, director of the Centre hospitalier de Niort. Project financed at the initiative of Robert Chiche, President at Territoria Mutuelle.
