Artist's studio
An artist's studio conceals an unexpected intimacy. Like a chamber of wonders, it is teeming with objects ranging from tools to personal souvenirs, books, collections, current and older works... through which a path is traced, the artist reveals himself.
Beyond that, the place is as if inhabited, in a transcendent way, by the spirit of creation, with all that it entails of inspiration, trial and error, solitude, reflection, ordeal and joy.
Between the material and the immaterial, there is still something that belongs to both, such as traces.
They accumulate in certain places - wall, floor, table - in a kind of fossilized palette that offers itself to the eye as much as an accidental vestige as a work in its own right, and although the gaze does not linger on them for long, simply passing in front of these traces already arouses emotion.
