Building on the success of its previous editions in Miami and Basel, Design Miami comes to Paris for a much-anticipated edition. Offscreen, artistic immersion off the beaten track

3rd edition | october 16-20, 2024

Offscreen offers a unique immersive approach to contemporary art, taking over unexpected and often unconventional locations across Paris. The concept stands out for its ability to present works of art in exceptional architectural contexts, outside the usual gallery or fair settings. The OFFSCREEN fair will return to the Grand Garage Haussmann (Paris 8th arrondissement) for its 3rd edition, from October 16 to 20, 2024. Some twenty galleries are expected to take up space on the eight floors of the former garage, with its industrial Art Deco aesthetic, which hosted the event last year, supported by Swiss private bank Lombard Odier and the House of Dior. After Anthony McCall in 2022 and Rosa Barba in 2023, this year OFFSCREEN will honor Belgian director Chantal Akerman, a major figure and pioneer of modern cinema who passed away in 2015. The Marian Goodman Gallery (New York, Paris, Los Angeles), which represents her, will take part in OFFSCREEN for the first time.

Private Choice, Art and Design in a confidential setting

15th edition | october 11-20, 2024

Private Choice remains true to its concept of a private visit where art and design are exhibited in a Haussmann apartment in the heart of Paris. The fair stands out for its presentation of contemporary works in an intimate setting. In 2024, Private Choice moved to rue Paul Valéry in the 16th arrondissement. On three floors, this historic building houses works of art and contemporary design on the theme of "Radiance". More than 40 artists and designers of all generations and nationalities meet here, spreading their influences and bursts of creativity through paintings, sculptures, objets d'art and furniture. The paths of these artists intersect and fascinate through the convergence of the messages they convey, in a studio house that has become an artistic crossroads under the impetus of its founder Nadia Candet. As every year, the works are available for purchase, and their words are conveyed by a mediation team trained at the École du Louvre.
